Promotion Terms and Conditions
Brisbane Beer Festival — Free First Schooner Offer
1. General
1.1 The Perentie Brewing Co. Brisbane Beer Festival Free First Schooner Promotion (Promotion) is run by Perentie Brewstillery Pty Ltd ACN 645 405 312 (Promoter).
1.2 Information on how to participate in the Promotion and the offer available are included in these terms and conditions (Terms). Entries not completed in accordance with these Terms are ineligible. Your participation in the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
1.3 The Promotion has one relevant promotional period commencing at the start of Brisbane Beer Festival on Saturday 1 August 2026 and ending at the close of Brisbane Beer Festival on Saturday 1 August 2026 (Promotional Period).
1.4 The Promotion is run as an instant reward promotion whereby Eligible Entrants who sign up to the Perentie Brewing Co. mailing list during the Promotional Period receive a complimentary schooner redeemable at the Perentie Taproom.
2. Eligibility and Entry
2.1 The Promotion is only open to residents of the State of Queensland who are 18 years of age or over (Eligible Entrants).
2.2 During the Promotional Period, each Eligible Entrant may sign up to the Perentie Brewing Co. email mailing list at the Perentie Brewing Co. stand at Brisbane Beer Festival at Eaton's Hill Hotel, Albany Creek QLD on Saturday 1 August 2026. Sign-up must be completed using a valid email address. Only new subscribers are eligible. Existing subscribers to the Perentie Brewing Co. mailing list are not eligible to participate.
2.3 Limit of one offer per person, per email address. Multiple sign-ups using different email addresses by the same person are not permitted and will result in disqualification.
2.4 Employees of the Promoter, the Immediate Families of the Promoter, any person involved in conducting the Promotion, and any person involved in the management of the Promoter is prohibited from participating in the Promotion. For the purposes of this clause, Immediate Families means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, stepparent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.
2.5 If there is a dispute as to the identity of an Eligible Entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the Eligible Entrant (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any Eligible Entrant who participates in a manner not in accordance with these Terms or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
3. The Offer
3.1 Each Eligible Entrant who successfully signs up to the Perentie Brewing Co. mailing list during the Promotional Period will receive one complimentary schooner of either Inari Rice Lager (4.4% ABV) or Shokai First Press Lager (4.7% ABV) at the Perentie Taproom, Distillery Road Market, 124 Distillery Road, Eagleby QLD 4207.
3.2 The offer is valid for 90 days from the date of sign-up at Brisbane Beer Festival on Saturday 1 August 2026. The offer expires at the end of this period and will not be extended under any circumstances.
3.3 The offer applies to one standard venue schooner serve only and does not extend to additional serves, food, merchandise or any other product or service offered by the Promoter.
3.4 The offer is non-transferable, has no cash value and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, promotion or discount offered by the Promoter or any third party.
3.5 If the selected beer is unavailable at the time of redemption, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute with an alternative Perentie Brewing Co. product of equivalent value.
4. Redemption
4.1 To redeem the offer, an Eligible Entrant must visit the Perentie Taproom at Distillery Road Market, 124 Distillery Road, Eagleby QLD 4207, within 90 days of sign-up at Brisbane Beer Festival on Saturday 1 August 2026.
4.2 At the time of redemption, the Eligible Entrant must present the confirmation email received upon successful mailing list sign-up, either on a mobile device or as a printed copy.
4.3 The Promoter reserves the right to verify the Eligible Entrant's identity and age at the point of redemption. Valid photo identification including a proof of age card, driver licence or passport may be required.
4.4 One redemption per person, per email address. The offer cannot be redeemed more than once.
4.5 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for confirmation emails not received due to incorrect email addresses provided at sign-up, spam or junk mail filters, or technical failures beyond the Promoter's reasonable control.
5. Responsible Service of Alcohol
5.1 This Promotion is subject to the responsible service of alcohol. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse service in accordance with Queensland liquor licensing laws and the Liquor Act 1992 (Qld).
5.2 Eligible Entrants must be 18 years of age or over at the time of both sign-up and redemption. The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of age at any time.
5.3 The Promoter will not serve alcohol to any person who appears to be intoxicated, regardless of whether that person holds a valid offer confirmation.
6. Privacy
6.1 The Promoter is bound by the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Eligible Entrants can request access to the personal information the Promoter holds about them by contacting the Promoter at info@perentiebrewing.co. The Promoter's privacy policy is available at https://perentiebrewing.co/. The Promoter will not be responsible or liable for the privacy practices of its contracted third parties. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter at the email address set out above.
6.2 The information Eligible Entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting this Promotion and for periodically providing Eligible Entrants with marketing information about the Promoter's products and services, whether by the Promoter and/or its contracted third parties.
6.3 The Promoter may disclose Eligible Entrants' personal information to its contracted third parties and agents to assist in conducting this Promotion, providing marketing information about the products and services of the Promoter, and communicating with Eligible Entrants.
6.4 Eligible Entrants may unsubscribe from the Perentie Brewing Co. mailing list at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing communication or by contacting the Promoter at info@perentiebrewing.co.
6.5 As personal information will be submitted and held directly by the Promoter, Eligible Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct personal information held by the Promoter to info@perentiebrewing.co. The Promoter will not be responsible or liable for the privacy practices of its contracted third parties.
7. Promoter's Liability
7.1 If the Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law to:
(a) disqualify any entrant; or
(b) modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion, as appropriate.
7.2 The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage or for any personal injury sustained as a result of participating in this Promotion or redeeming the offer. The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability of any goods or services provided in connection with the Promotion.
7.3 Nothing in these Terms limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001 (Cth) or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (Non-Excludable Guarantees). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of this Promotion.
7.4 To the full extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its associated companies, any agencies and all those entities' personnel (Relevant Parties) exclude all liability for any loss (including any damage, claim, injury, cost or expense) whatsoever, which is suffered or incurred by any Eligible Entrant arising out of or otherwise in connection with this Promotion, including:
(a) any indirect, economic or consequential loss;
(b) any loss arising from or contributed to by the negligence of a Relevant Party;
(c) any liability for personal injury or death; and
(d) use of the offer awarded under this Promotion.
8. Dispute Resolution
8.1 If a dispute arises between an Eligible Entrant and the Promoter, both parties agree to deal with the dispute as follows:
(a) the party claiming a dispute exists will give the other party notice in writing setting out the dispute;
(b) the parties will then try to resolve the dispute by negotiation within 20 business days from when the notice is given;
(c) if the dispute is not resolved within 20 business days from when the notice is given, a party may submit the dispute to a form of alternative dispute resolution (including mediation).
8.2 The Promoter's decision in relation to all aspects of this Promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
